Maycol Posso Giraldo
is a 22 year old up-and-coming Colombian poet who lives and studies in
Tulua. This song was adapted from his poem "Y de Nuevo" which he wrote
in the spring of 2009 and is to be one of a group of love poems to be
completed later this year.
My musical setting was finished in August of the same year
and is written as an art song with elements of South American folk
culture.
